After a successful show last year, the Loyola Film Club is back with another shadow production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Film junior Abby Robbins explained how they were able to catch the student’s attention.
“Last year, I think we really captured the organic love of Rocky Horror,” Robbins said. “We sold out our tickets in three hours. We had, you know, people from every walk of life on campus, you know, every different major film theater and anything in between.”
Unlike last year, the club has struggled to sell tickets as fast despite adding another show.
But Robbins and co-director Cameron Adams are hoping students will find the time to take a load off and enter this time warp of a show.
“I think it’s just like a fun way to let loose and enjoy yourself and kind of like dress up however you want and be who you want to be,” Adams said.
And they’re hoping to fill students with antisa… patient for the show.
“It’s gay, it’s trans. It’s about sex and liberation. And I think that’s really amazing for people our age,” said the shows Frank-N- Furter Grayson Gustin.
